Scenes from the Marketplace: Hieroglyphics and Jewelry Shops
Throughout our Egyptian marketplace are shops that welcome visitors. In each tent, our tourists get to try their hands at a variety of tasks. Tonight we take a look at two of those shops: hieroglyphics and jewelry. In the hieroglyphics shop, our hosts explain what it's like to be a hieroglyphics artist, and they help our visitors make necklaces. In the jewelry tent, the artisans show the children how to make jeweled collars.
