Scenes from the Marketplace: Leatherworking and Scribe

In the leatherworking shop, our families string charms onto straps of leather.

When they're finished, the kids can wear their creations as bracelets or anklets.

In the scribe's shop, visitors learn about the Latin alphabet.

Then they get a chance to try their hand at writing those letters.

When the kids have finished writing, the shopkeepers seal the scrolls with wax.

All of these marketplace shops help our Roman visitors have fun and be creative while learning about life in Bibletimes.
