Day 1: We're in ROME!

You never know what you'll see on the streets of Rome! Here are just a few of the highlights from Monday night:

Scenes from the Marketplace: Metal Shop and Toga Boutique

Each night our family groups have the chance to visit our Roman shops. These shops give everyone a chance to get a feel for Roman life during Bibletimes.

In the metal shop, kids get to write messages on pieces of metal.





In the toga boutique, our visitors try on the latest Roman fashions:

Preschool Power!

Meanwhile, in the east end of the building, our preschoolers are engaging in their own hands-on learning activities!

After months of planning, VBS week has arrived!

Jamba greeted the volunteers and gave some final instructions.

He reminded everyone why we have gathered this week: to share God's love with others.

We prayed together, and then VBS 2009 was underway!
